There are four Gera Passport badge tiers. Every tier makes your bookings warranty-eligible under the Gera Action Warranty limited service guarantee. Higher tiers add verified qualifications, background checks, and higher claim caps.

Requirements

  • Valid government-issued photo ID submitted and verified (passport or national ID)
  • Phone number verified via SMS
  • Email address verified
  • Address confirmed against a utility bill or bank statement dated within 90 days
  • Gera platform terms of service accepted
  • No active Passport suspension on record

  • All Gera Verified criteria must be met first
  • Standard background check completed (criminal record check — DBS basic in UK, equivalent elsewhere)
  • At least 12 months of active, uninterrupted Gera Verified status
  • Minimum 10 completed bookings with an average rating of 4.0 or above
  • No upheld claims in the preceding 6 months
  • No Passport conduct warnings in the preceding 12 months

  • Bookings are warranty-eligible with an increased claim cap on selected claim types

  • Minimum 50 completed bookings with an average rating of 4.3 or above
  • No upheld claims in the preceding 12 months
  • Endorsements from at least 3 verified Gera customers in the relevant service category

  • Qualification certificate or body membership shown on public profile
