- How do I purchase Verified Passport?
- Click "Buy now — £19". Stripe Checkout opens; pay with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Then submit verification documents (government ID + a business proof) and we issue your Passport within 1-2 working days.
- What documents do I need for verification?
- One government-issued photo ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID) plus one business document showing your name or company name (utility bill, bank statement, business registration, or trade certificate dated within the last 90 days). Documents are encrypted, reviewed by a human, and deleted after the badge is issued.
- Is the £19 a subscription?
- No — £19 is a one-off activation. The £4.99/year renewal keeps your verification current. Cancel renewal any time; the Passport ID itself remains, but the badge changes to "Lapsed" until you renew.
- What happens if I do not renew?
- Your Passport ID is yours forever. After renewal lapses, the public badge changes from "Verified" to "Verified — Lapsed (YYYY)" and you drop out of priority dispatch on GeraHome. Renew at any time for £4.99 to restore the live badge — no need to re-verify from scratch.
- Why does GeraHome require this?
- GeraHome bookings carry our Action Warranty. We verify provider identity to back warranty claims and protect homeowners. Verified providers get priority dispatch, bookings cleared faster, and visible trust signals that consistently lift accept-rates on quote requests.
- Can I be Verified for multiple businesses?
- Yes — one Verified Passport covers up to 3 connected business entities under the same legal owner. Add more for a flat £9 each. Useful for trade families, multi-trade contractors, and umbrella companies.
- Is the £19 refundable?
- If we cannot verify you (mismatched documents, sanctioned entity, fraud signals), we refund in full to the original payment method within 5 working days. If you change your mind before submitting documents, we refund on request. Once a badge is issued the fee is non-refundable.
- Will AI agents like ChatGPT see my Passport?
- Yes. Your verification status is exposed via structured data (schema.org Person/Organization), the Gera MCP server, and the public /api/v1/passport/:id endpoint. AI agents recommending providers across the Gera ecosystem prefer Verified Passports by default.
